He/she should really reveal his/herself and clear all this religion thing up and put an end to all the arguing.

There are several possibilities:

1. God only considers humans who go to the "right church" to be "His children"; or
2. God isn't interested in human affairs; or
3. God isn't really all-powerful; or
4. God doesn't exist; or
5. God has a "split personality" as evidenced in the Bible:
EXO 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
ROM 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Food for thought: During the flooding following Hurricane Katrina, hundreds of pious Christians who lived in the Ninth Ward lost their homes or even their lives. The notorious "Den of Sin", the French Quarter, was spared. Reality doesn't exactly jive with Lot's experiences, does it?

What about the Buddhists, Shintos, and Animists?

The standard answer, of course, is that "free will" thing. That the Christian god values free will over almost everything else (the one supposed exception is, paradoxially, obedience to him), and yet severely punishes anyone who dares to use it in a way he doesn't like is but one of the many contradictions of the Christian faith.

Never mind the inherent paradox: If God already knows everything including what every descision in everyone's lives are going to be ahead of time, then how can anyone be descibed as actually having free will?

God doesn't let us fight each other. Jesus came and showed through his examples how we should act.
We chose to fight each other because of our own self-interest.

As of now, some people still misunderstand the teachings and messages. And instead of following the examples that Jesus showed, we are merely using the words, that can be twisted to shape any person or organization self-interest. And from this manipulation of words they use fear to control. Yet, many don't understand that fear leads to hate, hate leads to anger which lead to violence and so forth. And like children we fight amongst ourselves to figure out who is "right" and "wrong." But really their is no point. Since words don't lead to the truth. Words are the least purveyor of truth. It is through examples where we see the truth in other people, in who they are.
I would agree that we are children. We are children since to this day we still argue which gender has the right to minister and preach the word of God.
God does not force us to do anything, She merely observes.

I tell you this: Every act is an act of self-definition. Everything you think, say, and do declares, "This is Who I Am."
Amen.

Hog, only an illterate person would ask such a question like this.

If God never allowed Bad to mix with good, wouldn't we all act like a robot doing all things good, for we were programed? Life wouldn't make sense.

Another example: If you only have the straight forward and no back forward, then you would only be going straight, no alternative to go back where you are coming from.

In order to make sense of life, we must have Bad and good exist at the same time.

Jews and Christians are not fighting, Muslims are not His children.

If you have children you will understand. You will tell them over and over how to live in peace but they must find out for themselves. Blaming GOD is a lot like someone shooting themselves in the foot and then suing the pawn shop they bought the gun from.
If we got what we deserved, the world would be little more then a dust molecule.

do human parents stop their children from dispute or disagreement? for the most part no because it is up us humans to learn to get along with differing perspectives..you do not learn unless you experience in life and if somebody or some entity steps in and tries to play peacemaker the real disagreement is never exposed....life is not all about peaches and cream in fact we learn the most when our backs against the wall

Deu 31:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
Deu 31:17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
Deu 31:18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.

God gave his children 'free will' to let his children make the choices which God will judge who gets into heaven and who goes to hell.

See a family. See parents allow children to settle their own differences. See?
