I have a 2002 Ford Focus and I took it to a repair shop and explained that it over heats when I use my air conditioner and the Raditator Over flow is continously low. The repair shop did a diagnostic test and stated that nothing was wrong. Help. The car acts as though it does not want to go or pick up speed at certain times.

well if its over heating when the A/C is on its obviously that the electric fans are not coming on when the A/c is on Take to a Qualified Shop or the dealer and ask them to give you a free diagnoses and a estimate whats wrong and in writing that what they do will fix the problem. don't go back to the shop that says nothing is wrong !! they are wrong!! for being in business , also when a car over heats it will lose power and if you over heated it to much you could have other related engine problems, like blown head gasket cracked head or both and the pistons will expand 10 x fast than the block so they Will scar the Cly walls, of the motor and you will need a new or rebuilt engine make sure they get it right!! is serious take care . good luck

Are you losing coolant and oil simultaneously? many times, when a repair shops sees that your cylinder head gasket is cracked or blown (the most expensive cause of overheating), they will send you on your way. It is a very labor intensive job to do and they would rather you just take it to the dealer. This happened with my Cadillac over a year ago and the final bill was $4300. The new engine was only $2100 but the rest was for labor and engine warranty. a blown or cracked head gasket may (sure sounds like it if you're losing a lot of engine power) or may not be your problem but I'm giving you the most expensive possibility.

Best case scenario is that you have a bad heater core (it's like a tiny radiator). The heater core http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heater_core is located on the passenger side and if it is leaking you will smell something sweet and it will be damp on the passenger side.

You went to a lame repair shop. Its need a good diagnostic test, itll pull the codes and tell you exactly whats wrong with it, sounds like your having some cylinder problems

From your description it sounds more like a head gasket problem. Somewhere you are leaking coolant, if you can't see where it is leaking or it doesn't leave a puddle on the ground then the engine is burning the coolant.

Take it to another shop, a dealer may be helpful if it is under warranty. good luck.
