Boil rice and drink the water it is boiled in. For toddlers, there is also the BRAT diet...bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast.

Not really enough information. How long has the diarrhea been going on? Did it start around the same time after you both ate something? Do you have fever as well? Is it accompanied by nausea and vomiting? Diarrhea in a toddler can be dangerous depending on the severity, so I would recommend a trip to the pediatrician. Mention to your child's doctor that you have been bothered as well.

A Doctor once recommended to me Potoato flakes, Plain Yogurt, bananas, and the rice thing that someone else said. The idea is starches, and the yogurt has good bacteria in it that will help if you can choke it down. You could also put the bananas in the yogurt to help out a bit :) Best wishes!
