I'm not a fan of chunky pieces of tomato in my pasta sauces, so I was wondering if you had any suggestions on pasta sauce brands that were smooth. thanks!

I don't like any tomato sauces that they sell in the stores. Instead I go to this little Italian store. They sell stewed tomatoes from whole, to in chunks to smoothly crushed. I buy the smoothly crushed ones and season it myself.. I have to tell you, the sause ends up tasting a LOT better. Other than that, I'd go with the El Monte can.. that one's good, not sweet, and no chunks.. I hate chunks in sauces!

Remember you said good not cheap.

Organic
Passata al Pomodoro
Tomato Sauce
Organically grown vine-ripened San Marzano tomatoes are picked at the peak of summer, peeled, bottled, and pureed for the most intense, freshest tomato taste. Use as a base for a simple olive oil and garlic tomato sauce, as a condiment baked with white beans and sage, Pappa al Pomodoro Soup, or as a base for pizzetta. All tomatoes are grown in accordance with organic specification. Recipe on the label for Baked Fagioli with White Beans and Sage. 24 ounces.
