what does rechargeable mean?
does it mean that you need a charger to recharge or how do they recharge

There are chargers you need to buy to do that. They are about $20 including four of those AA batteries. They are small and compact and plug into the wall with a group of clips you pop the batteries into. They usually have an LED that blinks until the charging is complete and then goes on solidly.
They are great for digital cameras that otherwise consume regular batteries way too fast.

If you'll use this batteries for example in the discman just put him into the device and connect addapter wich you are get with discman into the discman and into the wall outlet and charging of batteries will start automatically. Veradisca & Best Regards, Neven.
