If it weren't for the Crusades Islam would of over run Europe. You would be praying to Allah and living under Shia law. Many of you who think that Christianity is bad, like those in the west who are into a spirit of self destruction, are blind to the fact that Christianity saved you from Islam. You are free because of Christianity.

The point is that you who think you are free because you think freedom is "free" are wrong. Christianity paid the price for your freedom in the Middle Ages.
Paganism had its day in the Greek and Roman Empires. Sorry it was a loser.

Thank you for pointing that out. I do get tired of hearing about how Christians are evil because of the Crusades...
Personally, I am grateful to the brave men who fought against Islam back then...and I am praying for some knights in shining armor to save us from them once again.

Without the example of christianity, islam would not exist in the form it does today. It would certainly be much more benign. Muhammad took the idea of eternal hell from the christians -- up till that time nobody else believed in it. Other ideas which were exclusively christian before muhammad came along -- belief for belief's sake, forceful conversion of non-believers, and severe punishment for apostates.
As you yanks say, "Go figure."
Oh, and without the crusades, the moslems would most likely have left europe alone.

Nope. Unlike Christians and Muslims, I am free because I've rejected the indoctrination that you faithful have given into. I pray to no god no matter who rules the country that I'm in. And I've been in fifty one different ones not including the US. Many run by Muslim governments. Having seen religious fanatics being officially involved in government makes me happy to be living in the US where you folks can't get a foothold in the rest of our lives. Now if we could only come up with some atheist candidates for office.

If today's Christians had been raised in an Islamic culture then they would be singing the praises of Allah today, if not worse. Same in reverse for Muslims.

Not true, Muslims are to blame for the down fall, they killed the prophets family after his death and did not obey him, that is why they fell from grace.. for God sake they cut off the prophet's grandsons head and put it on a spear and travelled the lands of arabia with the head on the spear.

You fear Islam cos you want to do all the bad things, and say you are blessed cos you think Jesus saved you, when he could not even save him self.
No backward nation or any heathen tribe can come up with an idea that one dies for the sins of the world, and the bible does not prove Jesus died, if he did why did he disguise himself as a gardener......to escape his tormentors.

no we wouldnt..because if there wasnt christianity (meaning Jesus would've never died for us and redeemed us) we would still be slaves to sin...and so there would be no need for the devil to create all sorts of false religions such as islam....

You do realize that Allah is just another word for God. Allah is the same God of Christianity (of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) just a different word for Him. (As in Yahweh)
