I was told by my trainer for every diet soda i drink to drink double that in water in addition to the normal amount of water i drink!

Thats alot of extra water for you!

I would say just dont make a habbit of it and if it was not soda work out a little extra cause thats alot of sugar and calories.

1. Go to the bathroom (wash ur hands)
2. Brush your teeth
3. Drink lots of water
4. Go to the gym and sit in the sauna (steam it out of your system). If you can't do that, work on the next step.
5. Keep drinking lots of water
6. Do a bit of a work out to sweat it out
7. Avoid junk foods for a while
8. Then work on lowering that soda in take! Start by maybe switching to diet or decreasing amounts slowly. All of the calories and caffeination in the soda can really hurt your health (it takes away calcium and increases sugar storage which turns to fat if you dont use it all)
9. Stop worrying about it. If you dont do stuff like that everyday then you'll be ok. ;)

Nothing much you can do today, the damage is done. Working out will help, but the best thing you can do is treat your body better for the long run. You're drinking far too much soday, whether diet or regular. Try to wean yourself by switching initially to seltzer with a splash of juice, then start drinking plain seltzer or more plain water. That stuff is horrible for your system, and you seem to be working on an addiction.

Drinking a lot of soda will ruin your teeth and your health. I suggest you start by setting a limit for yourself as to how much soda you can have in a day. Then make yourself drink some water each day. Gradually decrease the amount of soda you drink and gradually increase the amount of water you drink daily. You should be drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water each day for good health. (If you weigh 150 lb, you should drink 75 oz of water daily.) You will eventually get used to drinking water and you will begin to like it.

Please don't drink so much soda. It is really bad for your health.

im not someone who is very big on water, its ok but im not insane about it. a good option is to buy the bottled lipton green tea, and white tea with raspberry. they are both REALLY good, and are a better alternative than soda.

feel the sugar buzz. Brush your teeth and gargle with mouth wash. Your going for a sugar addition here---I did that in college years ago, made me so mad I quit sugar drinks. If your athletic at all you can feel this crap in your system. No corporation is going to hook me!
