If you have a 1 cup measure and a ¼ cup measure, fill the 1 cup and from it, fill the ¼ cup leaving 3/4 in the 1 cup cup..

You don't say which other measuring cups you have, but let's say you have one which measures a half (1/2) - cup. Fill that half cup, empty it, and then fill THAT cup half-full or a quarter full. 1/2 + 1/4 = 2/4 + 1/4 = 3/4 There you are!

Depending on what you have - you can use 1/4 measuring cup 3 times like the other said, or you can use 1/2 measuring cup 1 1/2 times (fill it up once, then fill it up again only halfway), or if you have 1 full measuring cup you can fill it up 3/4 of the way (halfway between half full and full). Enjoy whatever you're making!

Take a coffee cup from the cabinet. Not a one quart 7-11 mug. A regular coffee cup and only fill it 3/4 full.. A coffee cup is a cup of measurement...equal to one cup...
