Yours stay on the vine long enough to rot? I'm sooo jealous. Just as mine barely start to redden, the stupid squirrels get them. I think next year I won't feed the indigenous wild creatures around here by refusing to plant a garden.

it is possible that you are waiting to long to pick them (over ripe) but you could also have one of several different problems, like blossom end rot, and there are 2 different types of wilt that causes your vines to wilt and your fruit to rot, you could also have a bacterial infection.....look on the net and search under tomato diseases...most are treatable...

Every food has an ultimate pick date--when it hits the ripest before it gets too ripe. Thats why people figured out how to store it, by canning, freezing, drying and adding spices.

you should ask this in Home & Garden. (more experts).
you must be watering improperly
or have a serious mold problem.
take a snip of the vine as an example to your nursery
I am just guessing.
