It doesn't seem too much to ask. Surely if god loved us, he would offer indisputable proof to convince the millions of non-beleivers of his existence. Why hasn't he? Do not answer that he already has, since obviously, if he already had, then everyone would be convinced and no one would deny his existence.

So...from the responses posted, it seems that god would say, "if you don't have faith, then you can burn in hell, too bad for you". Huh. That's a really loving god. Thanks.

The standard Christian response to this shows a lack of knowledge of their own faith. They say that God has to hide evidence that he exists so that we can have free will. They say that if we knew for a fact that he exists we would not be free to choose to obey him or not.
This is, of course, mistaken even within their belief system. After all, Adam supposedly walked and talked directly with God. Adam didn't need "faith" to believe god exists. Yet Adam still exercised free will and allegedly disobeyed god anyway. So did Satan, supposedly. These people forget that the test of free will isn't whether or not you believe in god but it's supposed to be whether or not you follow him in the right way. So their argument for why god has to hide makes no sense even according to their own theology.
EDIT: It's funny to watch them say at the same time both of the following: 1) God doesn't provide proof because that would remove the need for faith; and 2) God does provide proof. Now why does that seem wholly inconsistent?

I will tell you this, undeniable proof would only fulfill your natural senses not awaken your spirit. What needs to happen is God needs to awaken your spirit man and teach you His voice so that you can grow spiritual and understand you are a spirit with a soul trapped in a body. You must learn in the spirit the things of the Spirit. When your natural life is over your perception of reality will change because you will perceive in the spirit and be a part of the supernatural.

If God offered 'undeniable proof' 5 minutes ago; is one then going to assert that he died in the last 5 minutes so, if he is alive, he needs to do it again?

The problem is, when someone wants to be a skeptic, they will be a skeptic. Look at our landing on the moon. There are always conspiracy theorist.
I mean, if Mt. Everest was suddenly moved to rural Kansas with a big note on top that said, "Hey, I'm God and I did this", then some group would start claiming that the Chinese did it and WWIII was on the brink of breaking out.

God's proof is everywhere to be seen and it is within you. You can't blame God for your own lack of knowing, all things can be proved within ones self, blame yourself for not having the development of mind and being to recognize God in everything and within yourself. God gives you the power to prove, if you know yourself you would know God.
Did the Father of prodigal son not love his child who left his kingdom squandering away his inheritance, becoming deprived and entered into a state of poverty under the citizen of the far country? Did not such a Father love his son even though his son forgot where he was from in a state of ignorance? Did not such a Father embrace his son when he came back to him? The point is you can't blame God for your own deprived state of knowing, the poverty that you abide in.
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse" (Rom 1:18-20 NKJ).
You blame God for your own lack of maturity in mind and being.

Showing undeniable proof would take faith out of the equation. (This gets asked all the time by the way....didn't it mention that when you typed in the question?) God wants us to choose Him and put our faith in Him the way a child puts their unquestioning faith in their parents.

That would not take faith. Study the book of Exodus. He was a pillar of smoke by day and fire by night yet when Moses went up on the mountain, they made a golden calf, a false god. Samething still goes on today. Jesus said it best, "Just have faith."

We have proof, yet sometimes we deny. In order for the proof He had given us to be "undeniable" God would have to force His will on us.....which wouldn't be faith on our parts....and it would be the relationship with us God has choosen. Jesus said that He calls us friend. Friends don't force friendship.

People say that he does, yet it is only onto them that there is proof. However, you are right, there should be some kind of global proof shown, until that happens god is just a fictional character

If God came to this earth today and performed miracles and preached His Word to humanity, we would reject Him just like we did before. You have to understand, not everyone "Wants" to spend eternity with God Almighty.
Some people are a willing slave to sin.
