Expertless... I see where you were trying to go with this, BUT, the only thing I can do in support of your trying to do so is to pray that the words under your question be in bold letters within their minds and hearts and make them think about them whether they choose to or not and that God opens their eyes to see and their hearts to understand when and where He is in evidence so they may see that God is REAL... :)
God Bless! :)

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world yes I agree.
But as to Atheists being saved how do you explain John 3:16 ?
If 1 person was saved then Jesus would have been a success

Ok...one, the stories 'bout Jesus was written a while after the guy got beamed into heaven, AND let Atheist do what they do best, not believe. Gods above, still, Jesus was a martyr, I believe THAT, he died for our sins, but does that mean they were forgiven? Who knows...but anyway. I thought Christians were the only ones who were saved by Jesus, whether we like it or not it's an exclusive club apparently, and one that I really don't wanna go back in.

Jesus bore all sin. He did die to save the world.
But read your Bible a little closer....Jesus saves those who receive them as their personal savior.
John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His son to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that BELIEVETH on Him is NOT condemned: but he that BELIEVETH NOT is condemned already, because he hath not BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
Jesus is NOT a failure. It is a personal decision whether one wants eternal life or eternal damnation.

Once again, I'll repeat this for those who weren't paying attention the first time. Atheists aren't ignoring God or Jesus. Atheists don't believe that God or Jesus even exist. To an atheists there is no God to have a son and there is no son to die for anyones sins. It's not a question of liking or not liking it. It's a question of believing it or not believing it.

So let me understand this.....if atheists are already saved, why do they have to come to Christ. As a matter of fact the world can continue doing what they are doing because the world as you put it is already saved. Yes? I will like you to explain this further for me with attached scriptures. Email me.

You are in error. Yes, Christ is not willing that any should perish, but they have and they will.
Nobody is saved against their will. Salvation is a gift that one must actively accept. To not accept is to reject.
"Many are called, but few are chosen." Many will be left behind, unfortunately.

They are not saved whether they like it or not. Only those who repent and confess with their lips that Jesus is Lord will be saved. Stop taking a few verses out of context...it takes more than four verses to effectively explain Salvation.

What is going on this morning? That's super. If Jesus and I ever meet I'll just shake his hand and thank him for helping spread the teachings of the Buddha as I believe he was aware of his teachings. I have tremendous respect for Jesus and by your question, clearly you don't. We have no earthly idea what Jesus died for and that's sad. I would wish no prophet or wise teacher to die that way. Maybe we don't have the correct interpretation of what salvation really is or what he meant by it. (Buddhist Yogini)

Expert,
One is not "saved by Jesus Christ" unless he/she becomes a Christian. We will all meet HIM at the Judgment but some will be separated to the left and some to the right. We will either be in the BOOK of LIFE or we will not. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks,
