White appliances, cherry cabinets.?

I redid my entire kitchen with the exception of the cabinets. They are painted white. Now I am considering having the cabinets refaced in a cherrywood stain. Will this go well with white appliances (many of them new) or will it look dated?

Cherrywood cabinetry tends to be complimented by stainless appliances. Bright white on deep cherrywood seem to fight eachother and you probably want your kitchen to blend nicely. However, if you really have your heart set on the cherry, you can try to make it work with a complimenting paint color and the decorative items in your kitchen.
Also consider your flooring & the color and style of your counertops. Will it all blend?
Maple and pine are light fresh colors that go well with white appliances. Add black or brown hardware to your cabinets (wrought iron, oil rubbed bronze or rust) for a timeless look.

cherry cabinets are at the end of their trend think light maple for a more updated look ,also look into appliance refinishing inexpensive with great results -black appliances with lighter wood cabinets gives a rich look with out the cost of stainless

I have no idea what you did in the referb. counter tops cabinets on the floor and wall hanging cabinets..All I can say is to get a piece of wall paneling and have it cut to the size of the doors. Hang them with tape to see if you like the look...

You will have to live with it. Choose a colour scheme you will enjoy and forget the present trend. The trends change every year; another name for trend is fad.

Choose what ever makes you feel good that you will tire of in a couple months.
