Nope, cause if u get shampoo or soap in ur eyes on ur contacts. Its on there forever and it will burn like crazy, and no amount of solution is getting it off of there. also most of the time they wash right out when u wash ur face and get water in ur eyes.

Contact lens material is absorptive like a sponge. Any liquid that gets in contact with the lenses will be absorbed to a certain extent. This is why it is important that you only use contact lens solutions on contacts and not water (or even worse - saliva - yuck!). Bacteria and minerals are in tap water - both are things you do not want sitting on your eye. Bottom line, it is ok to shower with your contacts in as long as you take extreme precautions on not getting the water in your eyes or on your contacts at all. If you do, the contacts should be thrown away. Taking them out before you shower is the easiest way to keep them clean.

The best thing to do is take your contacts out before you shower. There are all kinds of bacteria swimming in tap water. We have people with eye infections all the time because they don't follow the contact wearer's rules. Sometimes you can forget u have them on, which is understandable. One time shouldn't hurt.

It is fine to shower with contacts in. I do it all the time, and have for over 15 years. Sometimes they seem to "stick" after a shower but you can do it.

You can shower with contacts in as long as you make sure that the water does not get in contact with your eyes.

Showering grants the comparable destructive aspects as swimming with contacts. the quantity of water can wash the touch lenses suitable out of your eyes and could reason issues if your water is chlorinated. at a similar time as the exposure to chemical ingredients is probable no longer long adequate to reason matters, there is an danger that chlorine would be trapped in the back of the touch, inflicting inflammation and soreness. some human beings do be able to bathe with their contacts in, via in basic terms no longer looking up into the water or via ultimate their eyes in the process the bathe. at a similar time as achievable, it 's no longer somewhat helpful. there's a especially intense danger which you will lose your contacts and that they are able to honestly be washed down the drain, making it impossible to get well them. It 's a extra valuable concept to easily wait till after your morning bathe to place your contacts in. Taking a shower should not be a concern, as long as you do no longer circulate under the water. It 's achievable to bathe up without risking the shortcoming of your lenses and this could not be an argument. maximum folk do no longer submerge themselves interior the tub besides.

The only reason I'd suggest taking them out is if one comes out accidentally, it will go down the drain before you can find it.
