I do go to church, but why do some people act like if you're not perfect all the time, there is something wrong with you and your life?

A sad fact of human nature. People like being able to point fingers at other people. It's not right, it's not Christian (Christ himself never did that) but it happens nonetheless.

when I was drinking I stayed in the Missions.
Had to attend ear banging at some church.
I was watching them.
one starts babbling..."boughtanhondawhenishouldaboughtahyundai"
I can see them ....looking at the babbler. person sideways.
acting like their eyes are closed
BUT THEY ARE PEEKING:):)
then they start babbling.

Person X hands in the air...
person Y higher....

see it in all kinds of places.
AA for instance.

they are called "two steppers"
they do step one.....admitted to god to ourselves....etc"
then skip to step 12...."having had a spiritual awakening......"
skipping all the in between steps.
SPONTANEOUS REMISSION!

that church thing was funny....
the guy with the guitar was running the show......
and boy did he ever resent letting anybody else on that stage.
I could see it on his face.

WOrked at some lunch thing at Episcopal Church in Seattle.
Pretty big event.
ran dishwasher.

OH THE VIBES!! suppressed anger.

It takes truly decent human beings, which christians typically show themselves not to be, to recognize that others should be allowed to live their lives as they believe, even if we have no desire to copy their lifestyles. Christians realize that they are not perfect, they just think that they are better than everyone else.

Those people don't understand humility or meekness - And their attitudes are essentially anti-Christian - They have no place to judge anyone else - and they will suffer for their judgements.

Pray for them, or help them understand what Christ's teachings really mean!

This is their problem. The Lord considers you perfect does He not?
