No I don't. And I would rather hear kids translating for their parents than hear a parent say "they need to be shot between the eyes". No wonder so many kids grow up to be criminals with an example like that.

Little kids also translate for parents who are LEGAL immigrants.
Remember, rote memory and about a year of English classes could be enough to help someone pass the citizenship test. Passing the citizenship test, however, does not mean that legal immigrants will speak enough English to handle their own affairs in English.

I think illegal aliens should be deported, but not because their kids have to translate for them. I live and work in China. I'm here legally. Some of the people I work with have to have their children translate for them. My child isn't old enough yet to be doing that, but chances are if we stay here long enough, she will be.

Alot of times the parents do not try and speak because their english is very broken and do not want to be ridiculed for it. My Mom speaks english, but her accent is very strong and she does not like it when people say, "I'm sorry I can't understand a word your saying." She tries, but people make it very hard for her to want to communicate. I translate for her all the time. These younger kids are very smart for having the ability to speak 2 languages, it's better than alot of us adults are doing. More know english than they let on. The kids just speak better english and are not made fun of when they something that is not correct. It isn't fair to assume that just because a child is translating that the parents are illegal.

Yes, I do and I fully agree with you. I have to speak with non English speaking adults through children all of the time...it's ridiculous. Illegals need to be deported and legal immigrants should be required to speak English before they move here.

Depends on their position some illegals are only illegal because of the inhumane processing times but have a legal right to be here.
Example sons and daughters of Americans have a wait time of up to 20 years to be with their family in the USA; what would you do? Would you stay or wait most of your life outside the country?

Yes, Deport them. Learning English is part of the process to become a legal citizen, If you can't speak English I don't see how you can be legal.

Honestly why would you even care? If this is the reason you want illegals deported, you really need to get a life...

sorry my friend, but deporting 12 million illegal immigrants will not happen, no matter how much you and your anti-illegals peers cry, moan, and demand, it will NEVER happen, EVER.
