US import vehicles have a specific US warranty. If you lived in the US and drove your car to Canada, and had a mechanical defect there, it would be covered.

However, if you purchase the car in the US and register it in a foreign country, the warranty is void.

I think the warranty will be covered but you need to check into other things. There will be dutys, paper work, inspections. It may end up costing more for your U.S. Hyundai then a Canadian one would by the time you get a plate on it and then you must consider that all the instruments are different, the speedo will read in MPH and even buttons and idiot lights have different symbols and stuff.........Just food for thought is all. As long as you take it to a Hyundai dealership, warranty is warranty. I have a customer who has a Tiburon the he purchased in Saudi Arabia and we are doing warranty work on it today

yes it will be. a warranty is a warranty. it does not matter as long as you take it to a Hyundai dealership to get it serviced.
