Make sure to bring some kind of lotion. If it is just a regular moisturizer or actual tanning lotion, it will definitely help the tanning process and help your skin after tanning (so the tan will last longer, look better, and have your skin not become itchy and irritated). They will (hopefully) try to sell some of their lotion and it will work. Watch for the "tingle" factor. It stimulates melanin in your skin so you tan faster and darker, but its not the best feeling. And don't forget your tanning goggles to protect your eyes. They provide the towel. If your tanning place lets you bring your own music, pack a CD.
