Give me blind faith in my Lord Jesus Christ because I know that to be blind to the faith of the world will lead me where I do not want to go. It is always better to believe in HIM and not understand than to not believe Him.

"Faith" is simply the acceptance of a statement as "true" without any proof whatsoever. To even want proof at all is supposed to be a sign of weakness. But I'm of St Thomas' party - I'll believe in the resurrection of Jesus (e.g.) when I can stick my hand in his side. Until then, I consider it to be a fairy tale told to adults to manipulate them emotionally.

Do you believe your moma and dady when they tell you about their... grandparents/?? That is blind faith.....You are believing without seeing...See there youre already walking with the gift of faith... Jesus exhorted the crowds when He said Blessed are those who have NOT seen me yet believe...

Neither is desirable, but the latter is somewhat preferable. Cutting off an important sense is never desirable. I insist upon seeing, hearing, etc. all I can.
