I sold an old ford when I was 17 and I am now 68. I am curious as to where the tiltle is because I cannot remember if the car was a 37,38,39 or 40 model. Tim Gillis 119 driving park road, wellston, ohio 45692

ask state it was last titled...that u know of...but i dont think they have anything that old on compuiter..and it may have left state

Sorry to say, but that info is long gone. DMVs don't keep records that long, and since going to computers most of the really old info is either lost. For instance, in CA, if a vehicle is off registration for more than 7 years it "falls off" the records and DMV no longer has info on it.
Might have more luck if you could remember who and where you sold it, then maybe try and find that person or a relative.

It would help if you had the VIN number on it. But I doubt if you are going to be able to find it. good luck though.

look in your records, you may have a old registration or even a photo to compare to for id'ing it.
