I think I have begun to get a better handle on being "upset" about it....there is much too much going on in the world that I could focus on and be upset about as opposed to someone who does not use spell check in this forum. Life is too short to get all 'twitter-pated' (a word I learned from a student in 1970's) over someone's lack of spelling. Now to be honest, as a teacher, I get upset with my students when they don't take the time to use spell check AND a dictionary to correct their errors. But overall, I donot have the desire to leave any kind of snotty remark. You know I have really been trying to get away from making remarks to people that don't encourage, uplift and build. Anything else is a waste of time and only hurts others as well as ourselves. I think that's what is wrong with the world today. We can't love everybody because we are too busy being critical of everybody.
Didn't mean to jump on the soapbox, but each time I relate to a question, I have promised myself that I will encourage people to do better, and be better and not judge or be critical in a way that is nasty and unloving.
Having said that - Be blessed!

Sorry, I didn't catch the poeple spelling but yes, it bothers me especially when it's the easy words like here as her.
It takes just a second. I do it to make sure I've got it right. I spell checked this and I've spelled people wrong. Sorry.

No but it is a bit annoying. I wouldn't leave a snotty remark, I'd just point out that they've spelt it wrong... Like you've done with the word people. Was that deliberate?

Sometimes it does annoy me, but I would never leave a comment about it. Some posts are hard to read when they are not spelled correctly or there are a lot of grammatical errors. I usually use spell check.

Not really!! I am on here to try to give some people advice or to help them out with real problems that maybe I have some experience with. The trivial stuff like spelling is the least of my worries. I dont expect everyone to be perfect.

i do not really get upset just annoyed it makes reading the question and understanding the intent a bit more difficult and in some instances i have chosen not to even answer a question i think i would like to..it would be nice if it was required before the question even posted

Nope, not for teeny-tiny errors. As long as the spelling and grammar isn't so poor that's it like trying read a foreign language, I don't sweat the small stuff.

Not really. It's just a shame that people do not use a feature that is readily available to them. When it makes it difficult or impossible to understand what someone is trying to say, then that gets annoying.

firstly i didnt notice and ithink many less people will be angry.
And the scientific reason is that by reading for few years our mind get accustomed to it and if words are misspelled then too mind read it.
and reading it didnt compelled me to leave any remark.
