My girflriend and I both go to college together, we are pretty serious, we have been going out for about a year.

Things are becoming really difficult for us, we are both really sensitive, our feelings are hurt, we are very vulnerable because we cant really be there for each other.

What do we do for the next 4 weeks before she comes back to school? I can tell she is really frustrated with me because im being a bit of a jerk, but its because shes not around and I dont know, i dont even feel like im in a relationship because in a relationship one needs to be there physically and mentally and all that for the other person.

What can I do to make sure that Im there for her, and what can we do so we dont drive each other nuts?

I don't mean to hurt your feelings but it sounds to me that you and her are very "needy" people. Before you can truly be in a healthy relationship, you need to be strong emotionally, secure within your own self. Just something to think about.

First of all... FOUR WEEKS? Puleeeeeze! What do you suppose those soldiers and their girl friends are feeling when they have to be separated for a year or more? If your relationship is on such shaky ground because of a month's separation, I'd say you should really take a closer look at yourself and determine if this girl is someone you love or someone you just want to own or possess. A healthy relationship is NOT one where you depend upon each other for the way you feel at every waking moment. That is a recipie for disaster. There has to be some breathing room.

If you are that insecure, she could be in for a long, bumby, troublesome relationship.

Easy, call her every morning about 11:00 AM and before 9:00 PM that way she'll know that you care about her more than ever because she is away but always call her everyday but not too much she might get tire. But not to say anything bad or mean sometimes long-distance relationship don't really work so well, because they meat new people you know but not trying to scare you or anything just saying and even if you can like pop up in her door that would be really nice.

Maybe you could hop on the phone with her, and talk it all out.
I had summat like this once, and we opted for a day or two just hanging with friends, and having a great laugh with friends.
It lets you cool off, then after all that, talk to her again about how fun it was, what you did, ect.
Also, 4 weeks isn't that long, it wouldn't be a stretch to think you could get through this pretty easily.

I could say i think it quite is over. i'm no longer an person yet i do no longer think of it quite is actual genuine love after 2 and nil.5 months of relationship. She's went off and could no longer seek advice from you and replaced into surrounded with human beings - human beings her age i'm assuming. I as quickly as enjoyed a boy who replaced into fifteen whilst i replaced into seventeen. It replaced into relaxing to speak, yet doing stuff sucked. He could no longer even get into R rated video clips, and the subsequent year i may well be waiting to go out to golf equipment. i did no longer wanna could wait or cope together with his jealousy. She possibly found out this. there is in simple terms plenty unlikely for you all. you're far aside and your age distinction, it in simple terms won't artwork at present day. i'm sorry, however the suitable factor to do is end it in the previous you get extra harm, and that's fullyyt obtainable. you have basically felt a style of discomfort.

if you can't be mature about everything, then she needs to leave you. grow up, and if you like her, take the relationship seriously. you are adults now, and you need to deal with it. it's 4 weeks. you're not going to die.

It is good to be away. Will make it clearer how you feel.
Relax. Time flies. Meanwhile go meet her some time.
