. . . . to congratulate me on my engagement?

:D

He asked last night!

(I had to ask the question, and he suggested this.)

Well, of course, it doesn't make me special, Jack! Just happy! :)

I'm going to hug you just because you need it! :D

Thanks everyone (even Jack)!

And thank you, Laptop! Your new (old?) avatar brings more sunshine to my already giddy day!

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Laptop)))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Oh, sorry, did I squeeze too hard?

Ah, I see Mr. Rogers is also the jealous type. I shall answer your questions to prove nothing that you say can bring me down from this high, sad little man:

So, which one are you going to be, the 1st, 3rd, 5th,or 10th wife?
-- I am his first wife.

Is he younger than 75?
--He's younger by forty years.

How many kids do the other wives have?
--As there are no other wives, that'd be none.

Have you been assigned your household chores yet?
--We don't treat each other with such disdain.

Which days will it be your turn to sleep with him, every 3rd Saturday night and second Tuesday night?
--All of 'em.

Aw, did I disappoint you?

Mr. Rogers is a special kind of idiot.

My avatar is the actor who plays Doctor Who in character. I'm female. All you had to do is use your brain a little, open my profile, and read. Though, I'm not entirely sure you are capable of that.

2007-07-29 02:15:36 · update #4

And, oh yes, I'm 29.

Sorry to disappoint you again, Mr. Rogers. You keep striking out on your attempts to insult me. You are a sad, pathetic, jealous little man. I weep for you!

I'm not a huggy, feely type of guy, but what the heck

((((((((((Good Twin))))))))))

Didn't you just write something about some guy being a slowpoke just a few days ago?

:)

Obviously I cannot be the first, but I'll perhaps be the most poetic.

Never Marry But For Love
William Penn (1644-1718)

Never marry but for love;
but see that thou lovest what is lovely.
He that minds a body and not a soul
has not the better part of that relationship,
and will consequently lack
the noblest comfort of a married life.

Between a man and his wife nothing ought rule but love.
As love ought to bring them together, so it is the best way
to keep them well together.

A husband and wife that love one another
show their children that they should do so too.
Others visibly lose their authority in their families by
their contempt of one another, and teach their children to be
unnatural by their own examples.

Let not enjoyment lessen, but augment, affection;
it being the basest of passions to like
when we have not, what we slight when we possess.

Here it is we ought to search out our pleasure,
where the field is large and full of variety,
and of an enduring nature; sickness,
poverty or disgrace being not able to
shake it because it is not under
the moving influences of worldly contingencies.

Nothing can be more entire and without reserve;
nothing more zealous, affectionate and sincere;
nothing more contented than such a couple,
nor greater temporal felicity
than to be one of them.

Oh I am so sorry, he is only 35 (75-40=35). You are 18 supposedly. I accused you of marrying your great great granddaddys fishing buddy when it was really your daddy's buddy. ooops.

Looks like I messed up again. Your avatar shows you as a guy. Good luck in your gay marriage.

Congrats, Grit's Good Twin!
Though I'm FAR too young to be engaged (13 is a silly age to get married, no?), I'm sure it's wonderful for you! I hope you have many, many happy years with your soon-to-be husband and that your children will be as beautiful as you.

Show me someone who's never gotten engaged, and I'll show you someone who hasn't made the same mistake once. :) Kidding, of course, but you knew that.

Here's wishing you all the happiness and success in your impending marriage as you'll certainly have in many other areas of your life. Enjoy the journey. It's going to be really cool.

WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've responded in all caps before! I'm sure that this just broke something in the "english" part of you. How did he ask?

My husband asked me on Easter morning. He had an Easter Egg hunt around his apartment with those little plastic eggs. He knew I missed home and it was so sweet of him but the last egg was a pain in the asse to find. He kept doing "warmer, colder..." It was taped up in a little corner under the sofa! Well, I finally said "Screw the egg. I don't want it anyway." But he insisted I find it. By the time I found it, after a half hour search, I was a little pissed and in a pretty bad mood :)
