The wealthy love Bush. The tax cuts made benefited them with the "Trickle down economy" concept that has failed-just as it did when Reagan tried it. His policies are in opposition of the majority of Americans-Christian or otherwise. That is why his approval ratings are historically low.
He lost the election by popular vote but won because of Florida-where his brother is Governor-due to confusing ballots that tricked people into accidentally entering him and the electoral college system.

All my devotion betrayed
I am no longer afraid
I was too blinded to see
How much you've stolen from me

You want to know why I feel so horrified?
I let my innocence die
You want to know why I can't be pacified?
You made me bury something
I won't be sleeping tonight

I only wanted a blessing made
Now I've been labeled a renegade
It seems so clear now what I must do
You're no immortal
I won't let them
Deify you
They view you as the new messiah
Deify you
Renew belief in some demented man (or man)

You want to know why it seems the passion has died?
We've all been living this lie
You want to know why my will has been fortified?
You've made me hunger again
Good luck sleeping tonight

I only wanted a blessing made
Now I've been labeled a renegade
It seems so clear now what I must do
You're no immortal
I won't let them
Deify you
They view you as the new messiah
Deify you
Renew belief in some demented man (or man)

There is no secret about it. They are pretty darn open about, how the Southern states (majority christian fundamentalists) are pretty much the votes that got Bush in....

As a Christian, it is my duty to God to love everyone and everything he created, even if they don't believe the way I do, or talk the same, or even if they are Atheists, Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
It is my responsibility to love all! That is the meaning of this verse that I have shared with you. Perfection of God's love, that's what it's all about!

Yes, that's true. The majority of red states are highly populated christian states.

Christians are to love as Jesus has loved them (John 13:34) and to love people while they are yet sinners like God (Romans 5;8). For whatever reasons Christians can openly love Bush in obedience to God.

yes.
He won by a slim margin, but that margin very likely came from the bible thumpers who came out in droves to vote for state constitutional bans on gay marriage. Already illegal in all of these 13 states, it brought out just enough religious people who hate gay people enough to get them away from their bibles and National Inquirers and to the polls.

Karl Rove is a marketing genius.
