OK, Here's the Deal, I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada..
I was driving down one of our main Roads from Downtown to the Suburbs.
It was 4:30 in the morning, so I as going just a little fast.
85 k's in a 50 zone. So I was wrong, I did a bad thing, that's not my worry.

My Question is, It says right at the bottom of the Ticket Above the place that I am supposed to sign on "blah blah blah Your Signature indicates you have received this ticket and is not an admission of guilt" welllll I didn't sign.

He didn't ask me to... So Does that mean I haven't actually received that ticket? Because Going By what I read on the Provinces Very Own Violation Ticket. I technically have not received that ticket Because I have not signed . . . . I'm not sure what to do or say..

Any Input on this mind boggling topic of mine would be highly appreciated ;) thanks guys in advance

Signed, not signed---you still got a ticket and you still have to go to court, or pay it out if you have a choice.
Stop listening to your goofy friends.

NOT signing is little more than a technicality, and unless you have a VERY liberal judge and a million dollar Attorney, then you received the ticket and are liable. Take it from an old man, who got a lot of tickets when he was young and learned that very few get a ticket dismissed. You admit you were in the wrong, so your choices are pay the fine and slow down or spend $1,000. on an attorney and try to fight, but unless there is more than just your lack of signing, I'd say you have little or NO chance of beating it.

Does that mean you wont have to pay the fine? And you admit you were speeding and have done so here on the Internet. So you are responsible enough to take the law into your own hands but not enough to take responsibility and clean up the mess you created and now want to weasel out of it and still make yourself feel even more superior by getting away with it. When all in all the poor officer was probably really just checking to see if you were under the influence or some other thing that would or might have caused him a great inconvenience if an accident ensued. You must be one of those great citizens.

I don't know how it works in Canada. But here in Missouri we have the signature line and I *never* have people sign. Nothing in the law that says it is required and the judge says he's fine with not having people sign as long as I hand them the citation.

Pay the fine.

You don't have tosign the ticket for it to result in a warrant for your arrest. People refuse to sign them all the time thinking that means the ticket didn't happen... they are wrong every time.

He doesnt have to have you sign it. I've never had anyone sign the ticket. And it doesnt invalidate it.

You'll still have to go to court.

As stated above - just pay the fine.
