First of all, I REALLY dont think that people pray when they are out JUST to be seen doing it. Seriously.

Second of all, I dont pray before I eat. Ever. Im agnostic.

Third, I think that if you usually pray before you eat but you dont do it in a restaurant you are not being true to your beliefs. You are worrying more about what others might think rather than what is important to you and that is really sad.

I was a waitress in North Carolina and that was the first time I ever saw anyone pray in a restaurant. I have never seen that anywhere else.

Yes, before you eat your b reakfast, lunch or super, pray silently even while you are inside a restaurant. Just close your eyes for a moment and pray to God to thank him for the food which you will eat.

No need to pray when you are eating your snacks or eating fruits, peanuts while on the street or inside the toilet eating.

Personally, I do not. I applaud those who have the security in themselves to do so.

The greatest person I knew prayed before each meal no matter where he was. He did not draw attention to himself (like look at me I am better than you). He bowed his head briefly and gave a short thanks.

I have the highest respect for him.

No, I don't. I never pray anywhere. I think it's a bit strange for people to pray before they eat, say, in a restaurant, and I can't help but think they're doing it for show. But it's a free country and if people want to stop and pray anywhere, far be it from me to stop them or stand there criticizing them.

I don't see anything wrong with it. However someone praying
in an restaurant just to be seen wouldn't be right. You don't haft to make a scene, or even use words when you pray.
