I asked this in a nuetral manner, and got little interest so I thought I would bait people into seeing it as some kind of challenge.

OK. I'm a believer in M Theory. It needs more testing, but a bit has been done and it seems pretty solid. What it did was took the 5 versions of String Theory and combined them with an older one called Super Gravity and it got all the math to line up. The big reason that I like it is the math ends up with fairly simple end products and when that happens it is usually right. (I can't actually follow all the math, I am a Chemist not an Astrophysicist. But some of the end products are simple like E=mc2 and that usually means you've got something.)

M Theory suggests that there are probably an infinite number of universes. They are caused by a collision in the underlying frame work (or membranes) of two other universes. Interestingly this theory makes it possible for humans to cause that to happen, we just need a big enough particle accelerator.

Each universe would be finite by itself, but the whole thing is infinite. The first law wouldn't apply because universes are not closed system. The laws of thermodynamics break down if you stretch the parameters far enough anyhow. Particles have been observed to come into existence without cause. That is old news.
