this is a good question and I have starred it for you, I myself am interested in the answers you receive, because I can't understand why people (unless they are desperately lonely) cling to religion in the 21st C, religion is theism and theism is theory so they are living by someone elses theory and not thier own

I do not act or believe so strongly that i am more intelligent or spiritually discerning as others. Although i know of no other religion (actually religion is traditions) i reiterate no other faith that had their prophet or messiah or idol come back to life. Therefore what other religious martyr has been so bold to state or have their disciples state this fact and change so many lives than the one true God, (Christ). I am not hardcore because i fail and fall every single day in one way or another and this is why i call on the only name above names Jesus. . Thank God for the last Adam.

I am non-denominational. Because I want to follow the teaching in the bible that God shows me. I believe that if I am seeking his will, and have an open heart. God will show me what my "next right step" is. I do not think that any one religion is wrong. I believe that all have some truths. Each religion is based on a person or groups interpretation of the bible. So who is really to say that the interpretation that God gives to me, is any better or worse than the ones already out there. This is a personal salvation, and I needed to be saved from "ME". One step at a time through prayer and study, God will show me how to live, how to help, how to love, and be loved.

1Kings 19:11-13
I have heard this still, small voice that is mentioned here.
I do not expect those who have not to understand, but I cannot
deny its repeated testimony to me.
Jesus is the Christ, the Holy One of Israel, The God of the Old Testament, the Reedemer and Atoning One, even the Messiah.
That through Him mankind may be saved upon conditions of repentence, and by no other way. That in Gethsemane he made possible my return to my Father's presence, and on Golgotha He overcame death and brought about the resurrection of all who ever lived. That He lived the one perfect, sinless life and instructed me to follow Him.
That He instituted one church, superceding and fulfilling all of the Law of Moses, and not allowing for any variation of the strait and narrow path outlined by His Gospel.
That He is my elder brother, and loves me more than I can fully comprehend. That my relationship with Him is deeply personal. That His commandments only serve to guarantee my safety and happiness in this life and the next.
That another Son of the Morning, who is fallen, is seeking desperately to destroy this work, and in this generation rages in the hearts of men.
That His Work and His Kingdom are the " stone cut without hands " spoken of in the second chapter of Daniel, that would crush all other kingdoms and fill the earth. While not all will follow, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is the Christ. Of these things I have no doubt, I so testify in His Holy Name, Amen

There is no "one true religion." To quote the Dalai Lama, "All major religions carry the same messages. Messages of love, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline…. All have these same values." Whichever belief system one follows is "true" for that person -- assuming they truly follow the teachings and just don't mouth the words.
May all be at peace.

My belief is not in a true religion but in the only true God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:3). THe Holy Spirit who God promises lives in me. I have communion with the Holy Spirit who witnesses in my spirit that I am a son of God and I have exercised the gifts of the Spirit as He so wills all the time.

did you know that not all religions claim to be "the one true religion"?
All religions have some truth, and some falsehood.
sometimes that truth is near the surface, sometimes buried in muck.
sometimes the truth is clear, sometiems its distorted and warped.
the trick of finding real Truth, is to find the truth in each religion, cleaning off the muck, and un-warping it as needed, then each bit of truth is like a puzzle piece, and you then fit it into a giant puzzle, with all the others.
the more peices you have fit together, the clearer a view you have of the true nature of things.
no one religion has the whole puzzle, and the mere thought that it does, is a distortion of itself that must be unraveled.

None of those believers can prove that what they believe is the one true religion, because there is no such thing. God never intended for us to all believe the same thing, and God also does not want us to all believe the same thing. God wants us to be authentic to who we really are, and to seek within for our own individual truth. God gave us free will, simply because he wants us to be what we choose, and experience whatever we choose so that he can experience all through each of us. God is the whole, and we are all parts of the whole. This means that we are all parts of God, it also means that each and every one of us is worthy....no matter what; and it means that we are all one! There is no such thing as eternal damnation either! Again, all paths are equally valid, no religion has all the answers, all religions have some of the answers, and there is no one true religion! *sm*

Because of the experiences I have with My Lord.
I will always believe in God on my up and down times because I've seen The good side and bad side both spiritual. and I will not be persuaded otherwise.
I just know & Other people seen the same stuff.
Everyday I get a glimpse of Him through humbling my self before Him. Its not just a Sunday Thing.

Wow! that's a lot of long answers. From a phychological point of view, change comes when you adopt an absolute view, called faith. Regardless of which path you follow, if you didn't beleive it was the real path, why would you follow it in the first place? Christianity works for me and therefore it's real. peace
