I think Jesus did not have a preference, e.g.
* Mary Magdelene was the first person to witness Jesus after his Crucifixion, this was a great honour
* 'many of his followers were women: 'he took his 12 disciples with him, along with ... mary magdalene, from whom he had cast seven demons; johanna, wife of chuza... susanna; and many others who were using their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples" (Lk 8)
* he gladly healed and protected women and often spoke to them with great affection - 'dear woman', 'daughter'
I suspect that some of the apostles (e.g. Peter) were not so keen (jealousy?)

Hello and first allow me to fix those words of yours, "g" god is always in the bible given to satan "G" God is always for God, second, In Hebrews 1:5-9 The Father Himself addresses Jesus as God in Heb.13:8 Jesus has been from all of time past to all of time future and in John first chapter Jesus is the one that created mankind and this world in the first place, in Jesus day women were considered property and the gospel would have been dealt a set back from the start God must deal with folks as they are and not as He wish they were remember in Acts 10 when the gospel was to go into all the world that Jesus' own disciples were prodigious so Jesus had to break through that with a dream to Peter read that its interesting also free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless you.

Looking at society then, women really didn't get up and walk around and do the kind of work Jesus did.
There were plenty of women that he cared a lot about, and I can't say any women got a bad deal.

Jesus is NOT almighty God.
(Mark 9:7) And a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud: “This is my Son, the beloved; listen to him.”
Who spoke out of heaven?
It could only be Jesus' father in heaven, Jehovah God.
Also, Jesus was created. Proverbs 8; 22-31
When Paul said this, he had Jesus', therefore, Jehovah's full approval;
(1 Timothy 2:11-15) Let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. 12Â I do not permit a woman to teach, or to exercise authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13Â For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14Â Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression. 15Â However, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.
But they were not prevented from talking about Jesus.
(Psalm 68:11) Jehovah himself gives the saying; The women telling the good news are a large army.
They were just NOT to teach in the synagogue.

Women did not get a bad deal until the church was established by paul and men were fearful of women.
Jesus loved women. Some of his most devout followers were women. His own mother left her family behind to follow her eldest son around and she even performed a few miricles herself. (I won't even go into the disfunction of a family where the mothers leaves her husband behind, in that day and time especially to follow her son)
Then there were others, and women have there own books in the bible.
Noooooo... God has no problem with women, and Jesus liked them too.... it was the church that had the problem... men and ego.

The book of John in chapter 1 verse 12 says that to those who believes, He has given power to be called children of God without reservation. Both men and women he gave equally without discrimination as God is not a respecter of persons whether man or woman; rich or poor, tall or short.

Women did get a bad deal, they've always been given a place somewhere near the backside of a mans hand, it probably has something to do with mens size,, thets the part of a man that causes trouble,, the biger the man the higher he needs to be .. the great equalizer was the the tool ,,probably introduced by a woman , the bigger the tool the bigger the gorilla you can influence...

Jesus had men, women and children who followed Him everywhere He went, and who listened to everything He said.
It seems that He spoke with such authority that everyone wanted to hear everything He said.
He was influencing the people so much that the priests in the synagogue began to worry about who they would follow, Him or them.
The fact that He chose twelve men to carry on His ministry, does not negate the fact that thousands followed Him everywhere He went.

In Jewish society at that time, women were not generally taking leadership roles in any activity. The fact that all the 12 apostles were men simply reflects the social custom at that time. It does not reflect Jesus' gender bias.
Mary Magdalene was said to have an important role in the missionary missions of the apostles. However, Dan Brown's
Da Vinci Code blew it all out of proportion.

Women, at the time Jesus was here were considered to be possessions, not equals. Women weren't even allowed to vote until the early 20th century in America so there was no raw deal for them, it was just their fate.
