when the gospel got over to Europe they depicted and painted him as with light skin and blue eyes. eventually that became a popular depiction 'cause there weren't any paintings of himself while he was on earth

I haven't seen a picture of a blue-eyed Jesus, but I guess most people like to picture Jesus as being just like them for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it makes it easier for the people who want to hate Jews? Whatever reason, it doesn't make sense. The Bible gives a real physical location for Jesus and gives a real family background, so wouldn't He look like everyone else from that area? Wouldn't the Bible mention if He looked extremely different from everyone else.?

once again.. JESUS was the COLOR of BURNT COPPER.. It says so plain as day.
Burnt copper is quite dark, think of the complexion of say Martin Lawrence.
This is a reasonable example:

His hair was WHITE look WOOL, meaning very curly, like someone of african descent.
IF it said WHITE like Goat hair, then would mean straight.
Why do people who claim to love him so much never seem to recall that he was obviously black?
The first image of the White Jesus came from a italian painter in the early part of the century and the rest is history.
