parolees are not allowed around alcohol period. this includes bars, liquior stores, or in thier cars. because alcohol lowers inhibititions it is more likely for someone who is intoxicated to reoffend. its common for a parolee who is not drinking or in possession of alcohol or drugs to be arrested and violated simply because someone they were with had alcohol/drugs. it is a priveledge to be paroled not a right. so to answer you - yes, they will be sent back to prison to finish out thier sentence.
