I was going to ask a similar question. But thanks I'm sure that religious people will spout out non-sense to your question

Um, you need to open a HISTORY book, and look up all those 'huge holes' in The Bible. Actual places,THOUSANDS of them. I just watched a good show on the HISTORY CHANNEL about Jerusalem during the time of Christ. Actual locations of where he walked. These archaeologists used their REFERENCE TOOL, The Bible, to find the sites. These are non-Christians.
I am pretty certain you have never cracked open a Bible and actually read it. You also just flipped past historical programs on TV when they concerned recent discoveries in the mid-east regarding Biblical places.
So, that being said, you let me know when you dig up that video of when the whales crawled back into the ocean because they couldn't hack it on land. I don't want a fanciful artists conception, I want a time dated video on when this happened, and the person (or other life form) that took the video. Until then, I will stick with specific design, and knowing for a FACT that the Earth is at least 6500 years old. anything else is guesswork.
By the way, why did advanced civilizations just suddenly appear around the world about 5000 years ago? Hmmmm.... makes you wonder.....

Evolution is not a science. It’s a hypothesis that has never been proved. Evolution defies mathematical probability. Evolution defies laws of physics (second law of thermodynamics.)
We have still yet to see any evidence of one species becoming another. Variations in the same species doesn't equate to evolution. For all we know at this stage is that those variations are preprogrammed in the DNA as possible variations. Mixing of DNA may make a new type of dog, but it is still a dog. So, even if a complex single cell organism managed to spontaneously form with perfect parts one time or even a thousand times, it wouldn't account for the wonderful variety of life here on Earth.
Evolution claims, random change & natural selection make simple things spontaneously transform into more complex things without recourse to intelligent design. Chance and random changes simply do not produce higher levels of organization & complexity.

No amount of evidence can turn scientific Theory into Scientific Law, unless it becomes calculable.
The Theory is sound in my mind.
Well at least I don't just believe anything because some scientist and not a great one said so.

< comes with evolution.>> Way way WAY less than 50%. It's still brought up ad nausium, but still, let's be real. Right away I am troubled by your embellishment. <> WRONG. Mainstream religions like Catholic and non-Catholic Christianity, Judaism, Islam - none believe "magic" created the universe. And thank you for admitting that science is still missing pieces of the puzzle. < followings of Evolution.>> When it comes to Christians, the problem isn't the Catholics. It's elements of non-Catholic Christianity who choose to interpret the Book of Genesis literalistically. When it comes to the secularists, they try to make the theory of evolution appear to be something that it is not. Evolution is the theory of Natural Selection. Secularists want evolution to be some sort of theory of "everything". Why would these so-called rationalists do that when even you admit to them missing some of the puzzle pieces? That's not very rational, it's presumptive. The reason the Catholic Church takes no issue with Natural Selection is because that is part of the Natural Law. Natural Law doesn't function the way it does by accident. Natural Law had a Creator. And since Natural Selection takes in accordance with the "rules" of Natural Law, it can well be said that Natural Selection is what God's Creative Process "looks like" to the observer. < research on it.>> Deal with what? The reason the Big Bang Theory is still mere theory and not scientific "law" is because science has yet to explain WHY the Bing Bang happened. So, until we can know WHY the Big Bang happened, you have to remember that the Big Bang is still mere theory. < dwarf it becomes.>> Lecturing people on science when you are seemingly unaware that our sun is NOT MASSIVE ENOUGH to explode? It will expand and eject it's outer core, forming a planetary nebula, and than shrink into white dwarf inignificance. Anyway, so what? What does that prove, other than even whole stars are subject to the Natural Law that God created? < of the puzzle.>> The "puzzle" that God created. <> NOT "proven". No responsible scientist will agree with that! If it was proven, the likes of the Big Bang and Evolution would not still be theory but scientific law. Since they're still theory, there's a ways to go before they are "proven". <> I just did.

Yes, unless there is 212% absolute proof, then we can reject everything that science has to offer. Religion, however, is not about proof, and therefore we can accept it merely because some people claim there is a god.

Not even the mistranslation of the verse from Hebrews, proclaiming wishful thinking to be "evidence"? Boy are you stringent!

Sweetheart, I have never said it had any scientific backing.
In fact I don't think it has any.
In fact, it isn't called a fact, now is it?
It's called faith.
