Excuse me guys, but what Original research had R. Dawkins actually done?

People seem to bang on about him being awesome, but what has he indepently discovered?

The Extended Phenotype, although you could say it's philosophical rather than scientific research. -

My point exactly, you could not have summed it up better, even he calls his own research "phylosophy" not science.

EDIT: the question was which piece of original research dawkins wished to be remembered for. it is not an exhaustive list. if you spend more than five seconds on google you could probably find more than i did. but you wouldn't want to find out that dawkins is a respectable scientist would you?

Richard Dawkins, like many academics may have based his work on research done by others, but has used it to draw his own conclusions.

Next to none, he is just another over-opinionated writer who because he has not the courage or backbone to pursue a life of faith feels it is so much more profitable to tow the Atheist line.

In my opinion that modern society no longer needs religion.
