Then wouldn't he only exist in SOME of the universes but not in others?
Wouldn't that kinda of destroy the view of what God is in most religions? As he's not powerful enough to be in all universes.

does it matter since there is no proof that a parallel universe does exist? Is that even possible since the universe encompasses everything in existence? and no it would not, y would it? since most religions believe that a god created everything couldn't he have simply created a second universe? If you are a member of any modern, widely practiced religion then im assuming you believe in an all powerful, almighty God, who has the power to do ANYTHING he wants, including creating a parallel universe. And besides any speculation over the existence of a parallel universe can be as easily disputed as the existence of God. Which apparently in our modern world, many lack faith in any type of god.

what I find so boggling is that people seem to attempt to define god, with words. when really it should be the other way around.
language of a mortal, finite being will inevitably fail in effectively describing an infinite "subject" this is simply the nature of things.
this might indeed be a problem for the entity SOME people refer to as "God"
but it is absolutely not a universal problem.
for example what I mean when I say God, is by very definition, encompassing *everything* including any and all paralell universes.
>>"As he's not powerful enough to be in all universes."<<
what I mean by God, is, by definition, absolutely infinite in power and scope. which means, that, it is indeed powerful enough to be in all universes, in all times, all everything, all at once.
>>"If parallel universes exist we will never interact with them, so it just doesnt make a difference. "<<
speak for yourself. some people already do interact with them.

Sorry. God is omnipresent and not confined by the space-time continuum. You can't put God in a box. Your idea, however, has its roots in Mormon theology. Are you a Mormon? It's not too late you know.

If parallel universes exist we will never interact with them, so it just doesnt make a difference. And god does not exist so the whole questiion is moot.

bingo, you've caught the theist obsession with existence. What would it matter to us which things exist which do not affect our lives?
