Is it OK to light the gas oven on low and leave it going all night
to keep warm when sleeping in a caravan? We will be touring
in the middle of Australia for three months, don't want to stay at caravan parks all the time!

NO! You risk suffocation from lack of oxygen as well as carbon monoxide poisoning. Use ONLY a properly vented heater or bundle up with extra blankets or sleeping bags.

We bought a fan heater from Kmart for about $30 which has a thermo guard on it which cuts off when the campervan reaches a certain temperature, works well for us, even gets a bit warm sometimes!

ABSOLUTELY NO...........IF YOU DO THIS EVEN WITH A WINDOW SLIGHTLY OPENED YOU WILL DIE AND OR KILL SOMEONE ELSE.

IF YOU DON'T DIE FROM SUFFOCATION YOU TAKE THE CHANCE OF A FIRE STARTING WHICH WOULD BE MORE DEVIATING.

PLEASE TRY AN ALTERNATE WAY OF HEATING THIS TRAILER OR JUST TAKE A LOT OF BLANKETS.
