I felt that exercising would help in getting good sleep. But on the contrary I feel very sleepy. Am not able to concentrate on my studies. Now it is 3 days that I stopped exercising and slowly I feel that I am back to normal. Am I exercising too much? Or is it some other problem.

Well you havn't specified how much you are exercsing so it is hard to tell, but if it is making to tired during the day then it probably is not that you are doing too much but that you are doing too much too quickly. From your question, it sounds as though you have just started this exercise regime so your body wont be used to being thrown into it - instead just try and work up to what you previously did e.g if you were doing 45 mins just do 20mins one day the 25 the next then 30 for a couple of days and eventually get back to where you were (and maybe even further!) Unless there is an underlying problem, this should help because your body can handle slow adjustments. Were you exercsing just before bed? Because another possibility for the tiredness as opposed to getting a good sleep is that you have been doing the exercise within 2 hours of going to bed which would definately not promote a good sleep for various reasons. Hope this helps!

There are lots of things that could be contributing to you feeling sleepy during the day. Are you doing your work-out in the morning before school? If so getting up earlier may have thrown you off a bit. You will need to go to bed earlier to ensure that you are getting enough sleep. Even so it may still take a few days to adust.

Are you eating enough? If your body is not getting enough calories or energy it cannot run properly and this will make you tired. If you are excercising you are burning more calories than you would normaly. Try having a healthy snack after you work out to give you an energy boost.

Are you over-exercising. If you are overdoing it you could be wearing yourself out. Remember that when you start an excercise program you should start out easy and work your way up to a more difficult program. If you build up you are more likely to stick with your program long term!

Hope this helps. If you have a more specific question feel free to contact me by e-mail.

Yes, seems to me that you are over doing the exercises, your body is not used to working that hard so be care full you don't hurt yourself. I bet your limbs hurt too?
Obviously you will be fatigued but try to limit yourself at the beginning for say 7 days, build on that by doing a bit more each week.

you were not eating enough. hunger and fatigue are both language your body speaks telling you it needs more energy.
Have complex carbs in the first half of the day and more protein towards the end of the day.
