a guy i really felt like i had a connection with said that i got to 'deep' in conversations and he didnt know what to do...and thats his reason for not going out with me...when these 'deep' conversations went on i really felt that they were good and a positive thing but then he tells me this.. and im just kind of hert because i put my feelings out there and then this happends. Have you ever you ever felt like he does towards someone? does it pay not to be so forward with your views and feelings so early in a freindship/relationship?

You don't sound very old so I reckon you lay all your cards on the table up front. You tell him all about yourself, what you like, who you are - everything and are surprised when he doesn't do the same back. Being so open, so quickly can be a bit scary to some people who aren't as forthcoming as you....that's probably why you like him. He's interesting and you want to know more about him. He doesn't need to know more about you though does he - you've already told him everything. Therefore, he gives you the push and you get hurt. Horrible, but that teaches you to be less open with the next guy and the next and the next until you get it right. It's sad - but a fact of life no-one tells you about. You find out for yourself. That's why old people are cynical. Take it a bit slower with the next guy...there will be another one...because you sound like a very nice person.

Hi,
I think that u shouldn't rush into telling him ur feelings right away,
its better to just to get to know each other just the basic things first, then go into deep conversations,.

I don't think that this should be the reason for not going out with u. He's not mature enough in my opinion.

I still believe that HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY... if the guy can't take that... meaning...maybe he is just putting you off... so don't waste your time on him. Be who you really are... if he can't take it... so be it. Don't change into something you are not.

There's plenty of dumb guys around...
...They happen to know how to disguise it better than others...
You just have found one way to blow their cover, girl!!
