what is the difference between sugar and sugarcandy?

how both of them are produced? nutritionaly how different they are?

Sugar is a natural product which comes from many sources. The most common sugar, that most people are not even aware of, is found in fruit and vegetables. All fruits contain a fairly high amount of sugar and many vegetables contain a small amount. The two most commonly known sources are extracted from cane (sugar cane) and that is what we know as brown sugar as it is usually unrefined when we use it (and has a better taste) and the other is beet suga r(sugar beet) which is extracted and refined. Beet sugar is the white sugar. Sugar candy is a sweet that is made using refined sugar and putting in additives such as artificial flavours, artificial colours and even, though I don't know why, artificial preservatives. Cane sugar is a good way to obtain energy for the body, in countries that grow it, people actually chew on the cane. Refined sugar is also a good way to get energy but refined sugar tends to be associated more with rotten teeth. As for sugar candy, it will give you energy but in some cases the additives will cause "Hyperactivity" in children and some additives are linked to causing some cancers etc. If you must eat sugar candy, which is only boiled sugar, then make your own and add natural colours (beetroot gives a good red) as well as natural flavours (strawberry, chocolate (cocoa powder) etc.). As for nutrition, sugar has little value except for providing energy, it contains no minerals, vitamins etc. that are of any value.
