I got the top of my ear pierced september last year. when i was finally able to change the earring, i took the old one out and went to put another one in. when i came to doing that i felt something on the back of my ear. it was like a red bluster or a blood bluster. at least that is what it looks like. i thought nothing of it. i thought that was ment to happen. A couple of months after i got my ear done, my sister had the same thing done. when hers had healed I checked it for her and noticed that she didn't have a bluster type thing on her ear. about 1 month ago my mum saw it and said it looked painful. it is sometimes painful and sometimes not. i keep finding yellowish liquid on the back on my ear and some dried on the back of my earring. i thought it was maybe pus but my ear should be fully healed now so i shouldn't have pus. i don't no what is going on. the other thing i notices is that my ear piercing is diagonal instead of straight. what the hell is going on?

you are experiencing periodical infection, i suspect because something is wrong you are constantly touching it which wont help, a cartilage piercing can take 12-18 months to heal, so thisis not unusual, 2 things you can do, and should. 1-check you have GOOD quality jewellery in, surgical steel or titanium are best when healing, and 2-bathe 4-6 times daily with a soloution of half teaspoon of sea salt dissolved in boiling water-allow to cool, bathe and dry thoroughly, keep mixture for up to 24 hrs and then make fresh, this will heal your piercing quicklybetter than any chemical preparation, always wash your hands with antibacterial soap before bathing or touching your piercing,be patient, it will heal

No, your cartilage isn't contaminated, mine is doing the comparable project, and mine is form new-ish as nicely. it is common for the yellowish crust to return off, have confidence me. I freaked out approximately it too, yet my mom had her cartilage executed and he or she pronounced the comparable project got here approximately to her. in simple terms pull the crust off and throw it away. you will possibly see slightly of blood once you're taking out the piercing for the 1st time, in simple terms forget approximately approximately it. it is common. you have a healthful piercing. you additionally could have the comparable issue I even have, my issue is that I heal very without delay, and so my rings nonetheless might desire to be became, they in all probability will for some greater months. in many cases I even have worry putting my rings in because of the fact they % up so without delay. And what I advise via it extremely is that I take them off to bathe them and positioned them back in and that they are already ultimate. :/ Like I pronounced, each and everything you're experiencing is time-honored. in simple terms shop cleansing it, turning it, and for God's sake, do no longer take it out until a minimum of twelve weeks, and don't USE ALCOHOL! It dries your epidermis out!

It is infected. The same thing happened to my best friend. You need to take it out because she didnt take it out and it got really swollen and she ended up having to go to the doctor to get it removed. It was VERY VERY painful for her and she had to take this medication that helped the infection go down for 1-2 weeks. Please take it out so this doesnt happen to you! I wish you the best of luck!!

cartilege piercings can be difficult to heal - i had to retire one because it never healed properly

if it's still problematic almost a year later, i'd say you should go back to your piercer for advice (piercer first, then doctor), and also try using a different earring - you might be allergic to whatever's in your jewellery. clean it with salt water soaks

Why are you piercing the top of your ear ? Did you notice that "body piercing", no longer exists ? that's because, people develop "Cyst's", much like the one you now have, you need to go to a dermatologist.
