Here's the deal, I'm trying really hard to loose weight and doing good so far.
But my friends having a party tomorrow, were reuniting with all our old friends again.

And the enemy is going to be there... BEER.
Is this going to be okay if I take one day out of my diet to drink beer?? And not just one, probably quite a few haha.
This won't completely ruin my diet will it? :[

And also, should I skip eating large meals during the day before the party to prevent excess calories? Just eat a few fruits and vegetables, then go to the party and drink?

Thanks guys!

One day off of your diet is not going to ruin the whole thing, i promise, but the worst thing you can do is to not eat to earn the calories. Have fun! You can't live in a dieting shell all the time.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and I do not have problems eating at parties or restaurants. I simply choose food from this range. And if I take beer, which is simple carbs, just for one night, I would be ok too.

And I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.

alcohol has calories your body cant use for energy - its worse than eating cake.
plus drinking on empty stomach will make you drunk really fast.
your body will not like it.
one bottle of beer has over 200cal.
