Yes, just throw the worms and poop away, use some pure alcohol to disinfect the carpet, or Dettol, or just soap, rinse it well, and deworm the dog with Drontal.

Ok! don't panic just pick up the poop put it in a bag trash it and then you would us basic cleaning to disinfected the gems and you can go out and find carpet cleaner so that you don't beach the carpet. But make sure you take you dog to the Vet. That's really important.

Are you worried that you'll get worms from this? The only way to contract worms from poop is to eat it. So it isn't necessary to have alcohol and all that, just pick up the poop, throw it out and clean your carpet with a regular carpet cleaner. Then be sure to take your dog to a vet to be dewormed.

Call the vet and ask if they reccomend anything for that type of cleanup and schedule a visit, too. Heavy duty carpet cleaner and then a good carpet cleaning should work, though. You can rent a carpet cleaner for around $30 a day from some supermarkets.

You don't need bleach for worms. that is an old wives' tale. Just soap and water is fine.

I have had MANY dogs in my home, both home-bred and rescues..I also raised 23 foster children, plus my own kids. NONE of us ever got worms from the dogs or puppies.

Just clean up the poop and have your dog de-wormed at the vet.

Dog Worms?

your dog is pooping worms? ... i might not have a dog, but that doesn't sound right. Maybe you should take him to the vet.

CALL A VETERINARIAN SHOP OR PET STORE AND THEY MOST LIKELY CAN HELP AND THEY WILL ALSO SELL MEDICINE TO CURE THE PROBLEM.
