Adam was one day old the first day he was made obviously. He was however obviously created an adult.

What is so interesting is that all the artwork showing Adam depicts him with a belly button. PS the Bible does not say Adam was the first man. It clearly indicates there were others created before Adam. Adam was the first man to have a soul. Having others around before him meant Cain could find his wife over in distant lands.
