All the evidence has ever shown was that he was alive. Ressurection was done in the form of his disciples moving a rock.....wow, big deal, certainly not a miracle. Everything else is made up by the church. A church that has made more lies and twisted tales and murder than anything in the history of the world. Why can't you give Dan Brown some credit. Nobody is saying it is all true, but there is no way to disprove the theory of a bloodline. And more and more evidence is popping up that shows he did have at least one child. Why can't you see? God always has existed, but aliens crossbreeding with humans is far more likely than what the fictional bible says. Do some research and you will see that in the time of Jesus, even his closest disciples never claimed divinity. That was added by the church. Judeo Christianity states that he was a mortal man and a leader or hero if you will, a savior. Savior does not mean divine. Wake up. Please. Therapy time is over.

You're funny. No evidence shows that he lived.

Wow, where to start. If Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead and his disciples moved the rock, then what reason did they have to start Christianity. The early Christians had no power and all the disciples got was persecution and death. Why would they die for something they knew was not true, when all they had to do to live was recant the faith. Yet, they still choose to die because they knew Jesus had rose from the dead. The entire New Testament was written maximum 100 years after Jesus death and accension. With many, many books including the gospels and some of Paul's letters 30-40 years afterwards. The New Testament is the most historically valid document in ancient history, hands down, no contest. There is more solid evidence for Jesus dying and rising again than anything about a bloodline Dan Brown mentions, not to mention the so called historical facts in Dan Brown's book in inaccurate. The New Testament is written shortly after Jesus's death and ressurection, has colaborating archeological evidence and non-Christian sources, has more manuscripts to compare the text to than any other ancient document in history, yet you believe that it takes less faith to believe aliens breed with humans? Also where is this evidence that Jesus had a child, show it to me. His diciples never claimed His divinity? Are you serious? Just read the New Testament and they claim his divinity over and over again. Also read the writing of the early church fathers they also claim his divinity over and over again, also quoting books from the entire New Testament, meaning it was written before 150 AD at the latest. Christianity states that Jesus was fully man and fully God. He was our savior, only God had the power to take the sin of the world and then defeat death. Jesus Christ rose again(the diciples did not move the rock)this proved that He is who He claimed to be and that is God Almighty. God bless.

It was because Paul who never met Jesus came and preached according to his so-called visions and gave the Resurrection and Messiah a new meaning, this is why Paul started his missions in places where Christ has never been heard of so as not to build on a foundation laid by those before him (Romans15:19) until he got financially well-off from Gentile's contributions and since the Jerusalem church of Peter/James needed financial aids from him they finally shook hands and accepted him as partner after 14 years since Paul first visited Peter which occurred 3 years after Paul's visions (Galatians 2:1-10), while Acts tried to tell the story as if they were partners from the start,
The Christianity today is based on Pauline thoughts.

Since his birth people have been saying Jesus wasn't who he said he was. If this is all a crock why are there records of actual fact. How many writings of other "prophets" of "gods" exist?
Nothing you say can ever change the fact that Jesus was and is the ONLY Son of God and he was not married nor did he have children except those of us who believe in him.
I am looking forward to Judgement Day when Dan Brown comes face to face with Father and Son and I want to see the look on his face when he realizes he was so very very wrong.
God has given all of us the choice to believe or not and I sincerely hope you choose to believe so you can live forever in Gods presence.

There is no proof Jesus ever existed. His story was written some 40 years after he was supposed to have been crucified. The story is a plagiarized account of Horus and other pagan beliefs of the time. Paul created Christianity out of his delusions.

Personally I don't really doubt that Jesus was an actual person at some point awhile ago.
His image, though, was warped by the Church and as stories were passed around, his 'mortal' characteristics were cut away and eventually he was just this beast, this legend, this miracle-worker, whatever term you prefer.
He's really no different than Hercules, or...ah...my mental list of legends seems to be failing me at the moment...arg...

I don't doubt the TRUTH of Jesus at all. The truth is that Jesus WAS and still IS divine, and no matter how many people you brainwash into thinking that He isn't, He still will be. The problem with people like you is that you only pay attention to the evidence that supports what you assume to be true, and then you mock others for doing the exact same thing just because they don't agree with the things that you say.

Well it's odd to see some one that is arguing that some one else needs to wake up while arguing for a fictional being. There was no jesus. Made up. Fictional.

I agree with you. Jesus was a great man - a sort of Dr. King of his day who touched the untouchables and fought peacefully for the rights of all - but he was not divine.

The story of a resurrected "savior" is neither unique nor original to christianity.
