For all intensive purposes, matter doesn't exist. Matter is simply another form of energy. Think of the chicken sandwitch you had for lunch. It started out as a solid state of matter, like a battery but more effecient. After you ate it, it was converted to energy. Then the dead battery, ( or poop in the chicken sandwitch case ) is thrown away. So, Matter, and energy are like two sides o fa coin, you can't have one without the other. So to answer your question... Yes Matter would not exist waithout energy.

Yes. It was prophesied by Prophet John of Revelation and Prophet Daniel that the old earth and the old heavens at its old age of everlasting age will be replaced by the new earth and the new heaven. This unending universe called omega will be the final home, final destination and final country of men transformed into gods or like-GOD. The old earth and the old heaven will be melted away at the appearance of THE LORD GOD who sits on the throne ushering the new earth and the new heaven. On one hand, matters will be destroyed as science defines the fundamentals in the atomic nucleus as with negative charge like our physical substances. And if one like a positive charge atomic nucleus will enccounter an atomic nucleus with a negative charge like the matters where our selves, the earth and the universe were created and this world is made up of positive charged nucleus is big enough the old earth and the old heaven will be melted away. This is just a common sense view of the prophecy of Prophet John of the Revelation. THANK GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; ;LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.

matter is eternal as is energy, and so is intelligence
light = knowledge=energy=mc squared=truth
the scriptures tell us this and that god can "organise" matter
(created is actually a bad tranlational error) organised is a better word but the catholic church ex-nihlo tries to keep it as created out of nothing.
read the ancient scripture pistas sophia and a few other old scriptures and it becomes quite clear that god organised the whole thing and continues to do so

Something would exist, but matter is created by the negative and postive clinging to each other. I don't know what it would be if one didn't exist.

We should not be worried about this since we still do not understand how matter came to be.
