Hey, you are not alone here. Sometimes the things we say to try to help make it worse. That is because we are men, not that we are not sensitive to our lady's issue, we just see things in a different light. Next time tell her you are sorry she is upset and if she wants to talk about it, which usually means you just listen, don't try to fix it that is not what she wants, be there for her and that will mean more to her than anything. Good Luck my friend

There is a a definite gap here between her normal mood and "...was really angry...".

Either you haven't noticed the subtle indicators that your girl is starting to get upset OR she suddenly goes from 0-100 in a second...
I suspect the first.

The difference between her "...really really sensitive.." and what gets to you, sound large too.

Perhaps the energy you say you want to invest in making her feel better would be smarter spent paying attention to her "sensitivity" as you call it.

We are all different in the things that matter and the things that don't. That is OK as we are all correct in our thinking.

By bothering to find out through paying closer attention to your girl you will actually do you BOTH a favour.

You will find out for sure if she does indeed go from 0-100 in a second and then you can make a decision about your future.

Plus she most likely won't end up "...really angry..." any more so you won't need to fix it.

If she is getting very upset over things of little importance and behaving badly toward you maybe you should point out to her that this makes you feel bad and ask her not to treat you that way. I would suggest not initiating this conversation while she is upset. You cannot make her feel better. It's good to offer comfort to someone you care about when they are sad or upset, but if she just keeps getting upset about silly things it sounds as though she has a problem, not you.
Another possibility is that she is upset by important and reasonable things that you don't take seriously enough. But I cannot tell which is the case from your question.

Flowers are always a good idea to cheer her up. Talk to her and find out the problem. Good Luck ;-)

To the couple other posters, Why dump her, just because she has feelings? A real man can work thru this to find the cause of the problems, instead of leaving to go looking for the airhead that will do anything they want and not have feelings for herself.

Dude, I've had the same problem long time ago. Trust me on this one.

If you fight it, it's only gonna get bigger. That's how girls are. I've been with my gf for 2 years (not too long, but quite long) and everytime I fight with her, and I fought back, the fight would become more intense and it would last longer.

So next time, just tell her that she is right, you are sorry, and tell her you understand how she feels. Tell her you care about her.... BUT you also want her to know your point of view and then reason with her.

Good luck
