Remember one thing, if the lover loves u very much by heart, under any circumstances the lover never leaves u.... Better u rightly try to know what is the exact reason... if u dont get proper reason from ur lover, better u dont convience ...
if it is tru that it is because of some fear due to their family .... and also, still u feel that without ur lover u cannot live, better u try to convience their parents through ur well wisher...

my sister went through the same exact thing with her boyfriend. my parents didn't want her dating a "PLAYER". My best advice for you is to just wait it out, you guys will probably date later in the future, if you guys really are good for each other or you could be her friend first.

If her parents are not comfortable with you...change yourself to what her parents like/dislike...or what their style is n all.
