Sounds like you're on the right track! Make sure that if you work out you're drinking enough water to keep yourself hydrated. Also, don't try to starve yourself, make sure you are eating food from all the food groups. If you want to work on abs, try a pilates class or DVD. I use a DVD that I love and it has different levels of exercises to I have something to work up to. Pilates is not only relaxing, but it REALLY works your abdominals and core. I love it! Good luck!!

Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some fats and weight. Don't snack on fruits. If you are on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, you can snack on nuts.

Eat fruits when you reach goal weight and are maintaining.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.

One of the most helpful things is not to eat any sugar or white bread, white rice, etc. Drink just water, and try to cut down on Splenda. Also, don't eat at ALL after 7PM, absolute latest 7:30. I try not to eat anything at all after 6:30-7, and it helps a lot. Eat wheat bread instead of white, and brown rice instead of white. Try to cut back a bit on the carbs, though. Have a piece of lean meat with veggies, very little oil if you can, and a bit of a complex carb like whole wheat pasta. General rule is don't eat late, cut back on too many fats, oils and carbs (you don't have to eliminate them, just cut back), and don't eat sugar. Sugar is really the culprit, not fat. And do some fun exercising like walking outside with your dog or friends/family, dancing, swimming, etc. Good luck! :o)

to loose twenty ounds by the end of november,
you should be eating a 1200 calorie diet.
your fruit intake should be 2-4 servings per day (larger fruit such as grapefruit count as 2; 1 serving is a fist full)
your vegetable intake is unlimited
your meat/poultry/fish/egg/bean intake is limited to 2 per day
your fat intake is limited to 1 tablespoon of oil (any kind) per day
your starch intake should be limited to 2 per day, and only whole grains (oatmeal, whole grain cereal, whole grain bread, whole grain rice, whole grain pasta)
limit your sweet intake to twice a week, such as one serving of ice cream or chocolate.
try to stay 100 calories within 1200 calories per day (including weekends), and you'll love the results!
also, add thirty minutes of exercise MINIMUM at least 4 days a week.
GOOD LUCK!
