Hey guys!:

Yesterday me & my mom ordered a sausage pizza, from one of local pizzerias [Domino's]. My mom started feeling nauseous after eating a few slices, but I didn't. I don't know how, but soon she stopped complaining, and moved on with her life. I didn't get sick from the pizza, or at least didn't feel it. Around 10pm-11pm I started feeling nauseous and sorta dizzy. I told my mom i felt woozy, and she told me to go to bed and try to relax. Then I started getting stomach cramps [not strong ones, really mild, simply discomfort] and shivers [mostly in my arms] I tried keeping myself warm with a bedsheet and a small blanket. I didn't get much sleep last night, but today when I woke up, I felt really weak, and I felt really dizzy when i got up from bed. I felt strongly nauseous, and felt like my stomach was burning [heartburn?] so I took TUMS. They helped with the heartburn, and nausea a bit. But I'm really worried it's something serious. PLEASE HELP!

Sorry, these is the remaining part: So my mom & boyfriend think it's all the spicy food I have been eating, and my mom thought the pizza wasn't cooked right. But I have pain on part of my lower back, and stomach cramps. I feel nauseous every like 30 minutes. & I can't eat anything without feeling I'm going to barf =( Please help me? Any home remedies? Are these normal "Stomach Flu/Food poisoning" symptoms? Or should I start worrying it can be something else? =0

Its definitely food poisoning- I could tell from the chills/shivers, nausea and weakness.

Drink pleny of fluids like gatorade. Water is not enough because it will not replace nutrients that you will lose once the throwing up starts.

**You may not be throwing up/having diarrhea now but that will happen over the next few hours. Infact, once that starts, that should be a good thing because that means your body is fighting it. That's just the course of food poisoning.

Food Poisoning Symptoms Chills

Most likely it's food poisoning. The lack of appetite the following day is probably just a result of having a late meal. The eggs could have been a little old. The muscle pain isn't typical of food poisoning, but if it's getting better so soon, this is a good sign. Chills are an indication of a climbing fever. If your fever is below 103 F, keep an eye on it. If it goes over that, go to the ER.

Food poison affects people differently.
Keeping yourself hydrated is the most important thing to do. Force the liquids even though you don't feel like it.
If you start vomitting and have diarrhea, then go to the hospital emergency room. You can lose too much fluid too quickly that way.
For food poisoning there is no over the counter cure. You just have to let do it's thing.

Once you have stopped vomiting, stick with bland foods for at least 3 days. The BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast). That will give your system a chance to recover while you're still taking in nutrients.

The back pain sounds a little odd, but as long as you have no fever it's probably not too serious. If it goes more than a few days however you should probably see a doctor, just in case.

I personally had a short battle with food poisoning myself a few days ago...peptobismol did the trick for me so you may want to try that.

Without going into detail, I experienced a very unpleasant situation after eating a Vegas buffet.

It's food poisoning. Unfortunately it is the risk you take whenever you eat outside of your own home. Hopefully it is just a 24-hour bug and it will pass. A lot of these cases are short-lived but violently bad, so just try to ride it out.

If it persists longer than that, head to the doctor.

Sounds like mild food poisoning, but i would go to the doctor if it persist for more than 2 days, or are associated with a fever.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
