Ok, im 19, and still only have a permit but no license. And me n my brother went n drove my car at about 12:30 am and my dad woke up and saw us gone. we came back and he told me to give him my keys so i did. then he said we'll find out what hes gonna do to us tomorrow. anyone who's had this experience? Can you suggest anything i can do to possibly make the situation better?

dude your 19 what can he truly do that is soooooo bad??? Ground you, make you do chores around the house, take away you permit (lol)... you really should get your drivers license you're almost 20 if you would have gotten it 3 years ago like a normal teenager you wouldn't have this problem...You deserve whatever punishment you get...what would have happened if you had gotten into an accident or killed someone while you were just trying to have a good time????????? Your 19 years old it is time for you to grow up and make better decisions

Then I decided you probably really do need help, so I'm gonna try. Good luck!!
In the morning I would go to my dad and talk to him. Let him know you are sorry, and you realize how terrible that was. Let him know you will NEVER do such a stupid thing again, and let him know you are willing to abide by whatever decision he makes as a result of your actions. And then take whatever punishment he doles out without yelling or acting ugly to him.
Of course, that is assuming you are really sorry and do not plan to ever do it again. At 19, you do need to act responsibly. It was very dangerous for you and your brother to be out at that time of night. Also, you aren't setting a good example for your brother.
I hope your dad will see a different side of you in the morning. And I hope you will not get so upset at people who don't give you what you want on here. They have no obligation to you. Many of them are young kids who just like to get under your skin. Calm down a little.

Or you could simply apologize and tell your dad it was a stupid thing to do, and you won't do it again. Don't be surprised if he makes sure of that. And work on getting your license. You are not the only person in the world to not have it (I was 26, my ex was 21 and my daughter is 24 and still working on it). Everyone needs to go at their own pace so they are safe and confident of their driving skills. Good luck.

That means your NOT INSURED while operating the car!!!!!
and you shouldn't have snuck the car in the first place since you didn't have a license.....Had you hit someone and/or injured them, they could sue your father till ya'll are homeless!!
