My parents have a Maple Tree and the leaves have these tiny little teeth (pickers, tines..however you say it, lol) that are all the way throughout the leaf, not just on the edges, and they don't know what kind of Maple they have. It turns colors in the fall and the leaf falls off, like other trees. I have tried to do some searching online and just can't come up with anything other than the kind that the teeth are on the outside edges....any ideas?

Follow the link provided and you will see in the identification chart that what you are speaking of is possibly a red maple.

Raised red bumps on the Maple tree leaves are galls caused by a tiny relative to the mite. It does not affect the health of the tree. I just does not as nice as a tree with green leaves.

First, tell us what color the leaves turn in the fall.
Red Maple is obviously red.
Sugar Maple is yellow.
