Splenda isnt because its made from real sugar
However some could be. Aspertame is a common sweetner and there isnt alot known about it. It has potential to be bad for you
Others have stomach iritants like m ... Dangit i forgett the name ill et back to you lol
i dont think any of them are seriously bad for you but if you have a sensitive stomach you may want to avoid some of them.

I dunno, but I used to eat stuff with aspartame in it sometimes. Aspartame makes my muscles ache and makes me very tired, so I figure it can't be very good for me. They say a by-product of it is formaldehyde when it begins to break down.
I feel ok when I eat something with Splenda in it though... and they say Splenda is actually made from sugar. I use it a lot in things like Kool-Aid when I am trying to lose weight. I guess I have to judge what's worse for me... 40 extra pounds or Splenda.
I guess all artificial chemicals are bad for you. Maybe someday they will find that it really is bad, who knows. Too much sugar is bad for you too. They say an excess of anything is bad for you too. I guess maybe one should just stay away from too much of anything.

My neurologist told me that aspartame(nutra-sweet, equal) should be pulled off the market! When I asked about splenda, he said he has not heard the same bad reports, but that it has not been on the market that long. He advised me to stop the fake sweeteners. I have even lost weight after stopping the "diet" soda!

If it isn't natural, eventually you will see on the news the side effects of it. It may be 20 years from now, but wouldn't it be better to try honey or go without the sugar?

Not in moderation. I prefer Equal. It really tastes like sugar. To me, Splenda is bitter. :)

I believe it is better then regular sugar. They now use it in Diet pop. my dad is a diabetic, and my mom uses that when she does her baking.....It has less calories then regular sugar. when you bake with it, u can not tell the difference.
